Ok. I have a problem, but in actuality, I don't. I know what I have to do. Have you ever had someone ask you to do something that goes against everything you stand for, but you feel like if you say no, they won't be happy with you? And to take it further, not only won't they be happy, but they may not do anything for you anymore.
But see, when my mind took me to that last point, I had to ask myself are you trusting in them or in God to provide your needs?
That question solidified my decision for me, but now I have to let them know that I can't help them. I have NO experience in this area, because I've always said yes to people when it was hard. I don't normally let people know that I don't want to do a thing. I'm a people pleaser by nature, but I want to go forward in life. I don't want to stay the same. I want to move deeper in God, so..............................................
I know what I have to do. I have to say no and know that I'm choosing God instead of people. I can't do something I know is wrong and still ask God to bless and take care of me. If I make a mistake, that's one thing, but if I do it knowingly, I'm in trouble.
A few years ago, I wouldn't have thought twice about this. Thank you Lord for growth. Thank you for strength.
