Money, Family and Just Life in General

I finally got some sleep last night. Friday night had mel and I up til 230am, so the sleep was much needed. Before we went to bed last night, him and I watched The Bucket List. What a movie! I knew it'd be good! Mel and I don't get to see many movies when they first come out. The last movie we saw at the theater was Transformers (another great one!).

The Bucket List really made me think. I think that when you find out that you're dying, you have the RIGHT to live those last days any way you want to! What a sad thing: to know that you only have 6mths to live...family members are all sad and trying to just keep you comfortable; people trying not to talk about it...I couldn't take it. Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson had the right idea!! Get out! Live! and do all of the things you never got a chance to do!

But you know something? It's a shame that we don't live that way everyday. We all WILL die one day. It could be tomorrow. We can't waste our lives worrying about every little thing. And storing up money doesn't do us any good either! Jack Nicholson had all the money in the world and not one person who could share his last days with him. Money doesn't love you. It doesn't care when you're hurting. Relationships that we form here on earth bring meaning to our lives. Family and grand kids and sharing is what's important.

Morgan Freeman asked Jack Nicholson: have you brought joy to any one's life? Wouldn't it be sad to know that you're about to die and you HAVEN'T?! Thank you Jesus for the opportunity to change that right now. I have one more day here and I thank you. I WILL make my life make a difference.

Yep, live each day to make a difference. I have wasted so many!
